Samro

Samro is a farmland located 60km south of Harare, Zimbabwe. It used to be managed by white people for many years, and then took away by government through compulsory acquisition following land reform under Mugabe’s regime since 2000. It was run by one of Mugabe’s top aids and high official of that time. The farmland is indeed a huge community which owns many farmers, school and hospital system, armed security, even a hydropower station. Because of lack of management experience, what lies beneath the seemingly prosperous and harvesting life is the stark decline of national crop like maize, not mentioning the ever-lasting inflation sheltering the whole country.
